Kiva empowers individuals to lend to an entrepreneur across the globe. National Runaway Switchboard

Between 1.6 and 2.8 million youth run away in a year. National Runaway Switchboard's (NRS) mission is to help keep America�s runaway and at-risk youth safe and off the streets. NRS uses Netsuite to enable 200 volunteers and staff to track over 100,000 calls per year, manage a database of 16,000 service providers across and inventory and ship 500,000 pieces of collatoral in a modern, web-based database.

Through their partnership with NetSuite.org, they were able to create an alliance with a NetSuite solution provider in Argentina � RNVAC focuses on their mission and the solution provider provides the deep NetSuite technical expertise.

Indoor and outdoor air pollution is a rapidly growing critis in developing countries. Envirofit applies innovative technological solutions to reduce pollution and improve the health, environment and economy of people around the globe, selling tens of thousands of cookstoves and two stroke engines to individuals in Africa and Asia. By using market principles and business thinking, they can achieve the scale and sustainability needed to make a long-term impact on global developmental challenges.

Environfit uses NetSuite OneWorld technology to support their expansion into India with all Indian financial and CRM operations run as a subsidiary. This allows the subsidiary to manage manufacturing and sales of cookstoves with complete visibility from headquarters. Envirofit also retains the ability to receive grant funds at headquarters and apply and monitor grant funds used at the subsidiary level.

Water for People

Water For People helps people in developing countries improve their quality of life by supporting the development of locally sustainable drinking water resources, sanitation facilities and health and hygiene education programs. In 2007, Water For People provided more than 108,000 people with safe drinking water resources and/or improved sanitation facilities.
